Just an excellent neighborhood bar. Not quite divey. Classic, like stepping back in time. Great vibes and the burger is one of the best in town

Little Hats Market

An Italian market and excellent deli counter with something for everyone

Cafe Roze

Our go-to neighborhood restaurant. They’re open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’d say grab a reservation if you plan to visit

Favorites: country ham toast, simple breakfast, broccoli melt (add grilled chicken), oysters, pistola or martinez (cocktails), preserved lemon labna, gnocchi, smoked trout dip, swordfish, the duck is just excellent, paprika chicken.

Kisser

An homage to the Japanese kissaten -a neighborhood spot serving some of the best Japanese food we’ve had

For: breakfast, lunch

Favorites: inari, chopped salad, onigiri (yaki and Japanese curry), egg salad sando (I love roe but not needed), yellowtail collar, chicken curry rice, creamy bacon udon. All the desserts are excellent.

Redheaded Stranger

A great Southwestern inspiried taco shop with homemade flour tortillas

For: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Favorites: RHS Burrito (we go regular but veggie option available), Burger (hatch chilles, come on!) and the #1, #5 and #7 tacos but you can't really go wrong. Biscuit sandwich (if it's a special that day)
